What Matters Most:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Office required; NetSuite experience a plus
- Knowledge of financial statements, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month end close required; intercompany accounting and experience with compliance and audit would be a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in accounting or finance
- CPA is nice to have
Your New Role:
We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to contribute their skills to an integral role for this centrally located, publically traded tech company. The pace is quick, the volume can be high, and the deadlines are tight, so you’ll need to be self-motivated and a problem solver to get the job done as efficiently and accurately as possible. In your daily workflow, you’ll assist with month end close, prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, manage intercompany accounting, assist with lease accounting and commission reporting, pitching in with compliance and audits, and other ad hoc financial reporting. Luckily, there is a great manager who is interested in growing and mentoring their team. The right candidate will be steady, organized, and interested in solving problems. A strong knowledge of applicable general ledger systems, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures paired with a professional demeanor will make someone a top candidate for this excellent opportunity.
