What Matters Most:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Background in construction, development, commercial property, and triple nets strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of financial statement analysis, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, full charge bookkeeping, tax, and collections required
  • Experience in AppFolio and QuickBooks preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree, and Bachelor’s degree required
  • Extensive property accounting experience accepted in lieu of degree
Your New Role:

One of our favorite clients, a boutique real estate investment and development group, is looking for a sharp-witted candidate with a strong work ethic to join their team as a Property Accountant. You’ll be in great company as a significant contributor to this small, fast-growing firm. In this role, you’ll oversee a portfolio of retail, industrial, residential, and office properties, performing complex accounting activities and preparing reports and monthly financial statements for management. You’ll work with income statements and balance sheets, process bills and invoices, and resolve accounts receivable – all of which affect the annual budget. They’ll keep you on your feet processing time sheets and reimbursing company payroll from properties. More than anything, they need someone who’s comfortable working in a team setting, but can also manage just as efficiently on their own.
