What Matters Most:
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in the agriculture industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
Your New Role:

We’ve just landed a unique marketing and communications opportunity that will allow you to spread your wings and stretch your skills, while also getting an inside look at one of Oregon’s fastest growing industries. This Communications Director role was created with an innovative and outgoing candidate in mind – you’ll work alongside the management at this head office to develop and implement an effective internal and external communication strategy. The strategy will need to cover communications between companies within the industry and communication from the industry to the public, including regulators and researchers. A position of this caliber requires major skills in organization and time management, as well as experience facilitating group collaboration. In addition to building a communications game plan, you’ll write industry articles, work with growers to help them communicate their stories to regulators, and do some occasional grant writing. This newly-created position is ripe for someone who has a healthy respect for the agriculture industry and knows what it takes to manage communications for an expanding business.
